A simulation model for a battery positioned between a wind turbine and the electricity grid. The battery acts as an active trader on the energy market, responding to grid congestion and fluctuating prices.

By combining production, storage, price dynamics and consumption, the model gave clear insight into financial viability and the optimal operating strategy for the system.
